How much does ERP cost?
ERP system cost varies widely based upon your business needs, goals, and objectives. It is a significant and emotional investment for any organization because it will completely change the way your business operates.
At EIS, we realize the ERPs are expensive. That's why we created the Growth and Enablement Program. This allows you to take that capital investment in your ERP and spread it out over time.
Keep in mind, when you buy an ERP, you need to purchase your software, professional services, and support. Expect to pay 1-4x your first year's annual license cost on professional services to implement ERP successfully. Support is typically a percentage of your software license.
How long does it take to implement an ERP?
The average implementation takes anywhere from 3-6 months. The amount of time it takes depends on the complexity of your business and what you are doing today with your current technology stack.
For companies that are new to ERP, we typically recommend to take a phased approach. That is, get started with your financials (i.e. the core of any ERP), and then implement additional modules on top of that. This will allow you to go live in approximately 3 months.

What is the difference between a shared/assisted implementation and the EIS white-glove approach?
Beware of the "shared" or "assisted" ERP implementation approaches - these implementation strategies may appear to reduce the implementation cost, but instead they shift the cost and effort onto your employees. In addition to your employees having to do their day job, these strategies require your employees to read through hundreds of pages of documentation and take training classes on how to use and implement the ERP. Even if you have a dedicated team to do this additional work, they are still at a significant disadvantage because they must learn the new ERP. Most companies don't have the staff and don't have the time to do this additional work. This results in ERP implementations that take much longer than expected (dragging on from 6 months to a year or longer), and ends up costing your business more in the long run. Do you work with other ERPs besides Acumatica?
